Proptosis bulbi
Ursache
- traumatisch
- Folgen: Kornea trocknet aus, Sehnerv wird gezerrt / abgerissen
Symptome
- Augapfel vorgefallen
- Pupillenweite
- Pupille weit: Schädigung des N. oculomotorius
- Pupille eng: Bulbusinervation noch gegeben
Therapie
- Erstversorgung: vorgefallenen Augapfel mit feuchtem Wattebausch abdecken
- AB-AS
- Atropin-AT (Verklebungen im Auge vermeiden)
- OP: Tarsorrhaphie
Prognose
- Blindheit
- Hund: 60-70%
- Katze: 100%
- Schrumpfung des Augapfels
- Erhöhung des Augeninnendrucks (Glaukom)
- Strabismus bei 36% der Hunde durch Abriss M. rectus bulbus
