Symptome
- cerebellare Ataxie
- Anfälle
- Halsbiegeschmerz
- asymmetrische Kopfnervendefizit
Diagnose
- Blut: periphere Eosinophilie
- Liquor: Eosinophilie
- MRI: diffuse hypointenses Signal der grauen Substanz mit diffusen Nekrosen / Atrophie der kortikalen grauen Substanz
- Patho: Eosinophile und mononukläre Infiltration vom Hirn (Medulla oblongata, Cerebellum) und RM
- Untersuchung auf Toxoplasmen, Neospora caninum, Dirofilaria immitis, Staupe, Tollwut
Therapie
- Dexamethason hochdosiert + Prednisolon für 6 Wo
- Prognose ist gut
