===== Indikation =====

  * Verdacht hepatische Enzephalopathie mit normalen Blutammoniakwerten
  * Verdacht PSS

===== Durchführung =====

  - Ammoniak im Serum präprandial nach 12 Stunden Nahrungskarenz
  - Ammoniak im Serum
      - postprandial 2 Stunden nach Fütterung (ein paar Esslöffel genügen)
      - 30 Min nach GAbe von NH4Cl 100 mg7kg max. 3 g p.o.

===== Ergebnis =====

  * <22 µmol/l: eingeschränkte Leberfunktion unwahrscheinlich
  * 12-25 µmol/l: Präprandial  postprandial abwarten; Graubereich postprandial  wiederholen
  * >25 µmol/l: Hinweis auf eingeschränkte Leberfuktion
  * >80 µmol/l: erst ab diesem Wert lt. Pe für PSS verdächtig
